About the speaker

Dr. Alex v. Buttlar-Wallot is founder and MD of FUNDED. With a team of >10 professionals and its proprietary SaaS solution FundedOS, FUNDED has advised >70 start- and scale ups to successfully attain EUR >220m of grants and debt. Alex has over 10 years of professional experience, in which he has built a broad network and expertise in fundraising. Before founding FUNDED, Alex led the fundraising efforts as VP Strategy at the VC-funded start-up Flexcavo which exited in 2022, collecting EUR 11m in debt, EUR +8m in equity and EUR +2m in grants. Previously, Alex worked at Bain & Co and KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice. Alex also holds a PhD in Finance from University of Cambridge and University of St. Gallen.
