Susanne König: At Kraftblock, we are developing an innovative thermal storage system that makes it possible to store heat cost-effectively for hours or even days. Thanks to this storage capability, electricity from renewable sources can be purchased at low cost and converted into heat or other forms of energy as needed. With this technology, our customers can access affordable process heat—such as steam, hot air, and thermal oil—for their production needs.
